Hi I’m Nicole, welcome to Simply Made Food & Fitness. I hope to inspire you to living your healthiest life.
I have always been passionate about fitness & nutrition. However, I wasn’t always doing either correctly for myself. For over 20 years, I was living in a toxic relationship with my body. While I looked like a normal, healthy person on the outside, I was constantly wrapped up in shame over what I should or shouldn’t eat and how I “felt” I looked and perceived my body.
Struggling with and trying to heal my own relationship with an eating disorder/disorder eating and body image issues, I knew I needed help – but I wasn’t able to find anything locally that truly fit my needs.
Already certified in Nutrition and various fitness formats, I felt I needed something “deeper” that got more to the “why” I had these struggles. While doing an internet search, I came across the Institute for the Psychology of Eating website founded by Marc David, and decided to take the leap and sign up for one of his extensive certification courses. In the process of transforming my own relationship with food and self – I realized that many others could benefit from this and wanted to share my learning with others, to help them transform as well.
My goal is to help you nourish a healthier relationship with food, body image & self, and start living without limits and restrictions.
